September may mean the end of Summer, but it doesn’t mean the end of FUN! The Town of Oak Island is excited to host its Sunset On Summer Music Festival!
Scheduled for the Saturday after Labor Day, this one-day festival will provide a transition between the Town’s “Summer Fun” and “Fall Festivities” – and everyone is invited!
… along with a kids area, live DJ, food trucks, craft beer, wine, and spirits on site.
Sunset on Summer will feature music by:
- Gary Lowder & Smokin’ Hot at 12:00 PM
- Chicago Rewired at 3:00 PM
- On the Border at 6:00 PM

While Labor Day and the first week of September is often seen as the “unofficial end” to the summer season, it doesn’t mean the fun has to end in the Town of Oak Island! Sunset On Summer will provide a large, single-day event to keep the fun going and mark the transition from “Summer Fun” to “Fall Festivities.”
